About Us

Owner & Project Consultant/Manager

Laura Barton M.S., FMP

Laura is the founder and owner of Rockhaven Facility Services, a registered Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). With a degree in Construction Engineering & Management from Purdue University and a master's in Strategic Leadership & Organizational Design from the University of Indianapolis, she brings a unique perspective to construction and facility management.

Her career has spanned more than 25 years, from building hospitals, schools, municipal facilities, and commercial developments, to leading construction projects, facility teams, and capital improvement programs. Having worked on both sides of the construction process, Laura understands not only what it takes to deliver a successful project, but also how those decisions affect the people and businesses who will rely on the finished facility.

A natural questioner and problem-solver, Laura enjoys getting to the heart of complex challenges, connecting the right people, and finding practical solutions. She has a particular talent for translating between the construction team and the owner, ensuring project decisions support broader business objectives—not just the immediate demands of construction.

What Laura enjoys most is bringing people, projects, and priorities together to create better outcomes. Whether helping an owner protect their investment, guiding a project through a difficult transition, or making a facility work better for its occupants, she finds tremendous satisfaction in seeing thoughtful planning and collaboration make a lasting difference.
